The evaluation of the testing of safety apparel & protective clothing including high visibility products is one of Vartest’s specialties.   Both daytime conspicuity fluorescence and nighttime conspicuity retroreflection can be assessed.

Vartest are the only ISO 17025 accredited commercial testing laboratories in North America which can perform all the test protocols including the Rain Test as specified in ANSI 107 and EN471 in house; using full scale state of the art instruments.

As associate members of ISEA (International Safety equipment Association) we participate in selecting appropriate test protocols and products.  When the full range of tests is performed and satisfactory results obtained test certificates are issued for tapes, fabrics and garments.

In addition to the ANSI 107, EN471, AS/NZS 1606.4 protocols we follow the International Marine Organization, National Fire Protection and Japanese Industrial Standards procedures.
